A new public promenade, reconstructed wharf, and private boat slips activate the waterfront, connecting residents and visitors to the riverfront experience.

Robinson Landing
Nestled two blocks south of King Street, Robinson Landing redefines waterfront living in Old Town Alexandria. Developed by EYA, the community includes 70 luxury condominiums and 26 elevator townhomes, blending contemporary design with the city’s historic charm. The development appeals to discerning buyers seeking a walkable, elegant, and relaxed urban lifestyle at the water’s edge.
Once home to 18th-century waterfront warehouses known as Terminal South, the site integrates preserved historic elements into a revitalized mixed-use environment. Extensive coordination with Old Town’s historic preservation process ensured a sensitive and authentic transformation of this landmark location.

KCCT’s interiors studio crafted sophisticated interior architecture and furnishings for the community’s common spaces and an incubator art gallery. Warm woods, honed marble, rich textiles, and curated artwork define the interiors, while exterior materials—brick, slate, metal, and fiber cement—align with the neighborhood’s historic profile.
Residents enjoy five-star amenities, including a welcoming lobby with concierge service, a resident lounge, meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a yoga studio overlooking the water. Additional conveniences include a pet spa, bike shop, and storage facilities.

Robinson Landing embraces community and culture through two destination restaurants and an art gallery featuring local exhibits. The development honors its industrial past while enriching the future of the Old Town Waterfront.
During excavation, archaeologists uncovered three Revolutionary War-era ships and the foundations of 18th- and 19th-century structures, all carefully documented and donated to the City of Alexandria.
The result is a waterfront community that celebrates the intersection of history, art, and contemporary design, offering residents a timeless connection to Old Town’s evolving story.
