The interior design concept fosters a sense of familiarity by transforming the suite into a uniquely tailored hub.

American Sugarbeet Headquarters
KCCT designed the interior fit-out for the new American Sugarbeet Growers Assocation headquarters, an organization that legislatively represents the national interests of sugarbeet farmers. The new office suite, located in the Central Business District of Washington, DC, is designed to facilitate meetings and events that promote dialogue between farmers and legislators. The suite includes a reception area, a spacious conference room, five glass-walled private offices along an exterior window wall, and support space.

KCCT’s interiors studio derived inspiration from the notions of the idyllic agricultural landscape, earthy hues, and rich textures under a clear blue sky. These ideas translated into the space by balancing the connection to the landscape with a light and airy cosmopolitan sensibility.
Textural interest was introduced through a unique carpet tile design that echoes crop rows or striations in a root’s surface. The addition of a sky-blue accent wall in the reception area functions as a window into expansive spaces, and a contemporary branding wall features miniatures of the equipment traditionally utilized by a sugarbeet farmer.
