Paul directs a global portfolio of high-profile public and private projects across six continents, applying over three decades of experience leading complex design and development efforts for both government and commercial clients. As a principal at KCCT, he unites the rigor and mission-driven focus of federal architecture with the entrepreneurial vision of private development, advancing design excellence in projects that range from secure diplomatic campuses to dynamic mixed-use, hospitality, and workplace environments.

Throughout his career, Paul has led diplomatic, cybersecurity, defense, and civic design initiatives in politically sensitive and technically challenging settings, while also overseeing the firm’s growing commercial development portfolio. His recent work includes the design and repositioning of urban properties in the Washington metropolitan region, guiding developer-led teams through entitlement, pro forma, and construction phases with an emphasis on design quality, financial performance, and long-term community impact.

As an advisor to federal clients such as the Department of State, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the Architect of the Capitol, Paul is adept at navigating multi-jurisdictional approval processes, aligning stakeholder objectives, and identifying key design drivers that inform both mission effectiveness and investment value. His work reflects a sustained commitment to creating environments—spanning embassies, corporate headquarters, and mixed-use communities—that represent identity, security, and civic purpose in equal measure.

Paul has represented KCCT in national forums, including a bipartisan congressional caucus on adaptability and security in diplomatic architecture and the 2024 AIA National Conference, where he presented alongside the Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations on resiliency frameworks and their implications for policy and practice.
