U.S. Embassy
Responding to security needs, the new vehicular and pedestrian circulation pattern and Compound Access Control (CAC) building manages public access to the Embassy compound. Following their initial screening, individuals are directed into either the compound of the consular section waiting area. The design of the new CAC maintains the style of the existing two-story stucco French-Colonial Chancery built in 1945. Current security standards have been applied in the redesign of the perimeter fence/barrier, the compound gatehouses, the buildings, security lobbies, the site lighting, and the technical security systems.
