STEPHEN M. VLACH, AIA - KCCT is pleased to announce the promotion of Stephen M. Vlach, AIA, to Principal. Mr. Vlach brings more than 23 years of design leadership to the firm including expertise in multi-family housing, historic preservation, and US government and diplomatic facilities.
He currently leads a studio specializing in the design of new large-scale US Embassies and Consulates including New Delhi, India; Monterrey, Mexico; Bucharest, Romania; Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and Astana, Kazakhstan. Stephen assumes responsibility for KCCT's collaboration with several significant Design/Build partners, and will continue to direct projects in the diplomatic, military, and intelligence communities.
"Initially I came to KCCT because of its reputation as an industry leader in the design and construction of U.S. government facilities overseas. Stephen notes that he continues to be challenged every day with exciting projects with clients, contractors and consultants that he has fostered relationships with since the beginning. "During my 16 years with KCCT, I've had the opportunity to grow as a professional and become a leader in the design of projects that represent our country around the world."
