Daniel Ayad

Daniel approaches architecture as an integrated process in which details and concept articulate the overall work plan and composition for coherent, purposeful design. With experience across the United States and abroad, he has contributed to a wide spectrum of project types and scales, including multi-family and mixed-use developments, office and retail buildings, industrial warehouses, data centers, historic restorations, and federal institutions. His technical expertise spans various construction methods, from traditional stick-built systems to prefabricated cross-laminated timber and tilt-up concrete panels, tensile cable structures, and blast-rated construction.
His global perspective informs his work on KCCT’s international projects, where architecture serves as both a cultural and functional bridge. Daniel leads design documentation and coordination of bridging design and design-build architect-of-record projects for new embassy campuses, as well as lease fit-out and selective improvements projects for diplomatic facilities with significant historic considerations. He approaches each project with a focus on research-driven decision-making and client partnership.
Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Daniel’s interest in architecture was sparked by the rich urban fabric and cultural depth of the city. He continues to expand his expertise through continuing education in construction management and emerging design technologies.
