Based on a multidisciplinary site survey and facility assessment report this recapitalization project for Office D entailed reconfiguration of existing office and storage space on two levels, correction of security deficiencies, and replacement of interior finishes. Engineering services included mechanical and electrical systems replacement, ventilation and air conditioning improvements, seismic improvements, and structural support of one new chiller on the roof of an adjacent building.

KCCT coordinated the design and phasing to maintain mission critical operations throughout construction. Due to concern over potential failure of the existing chiller, the new equipment was ordered, procured and shipped to site by the government during design to expedite the replacement.

The project was reviewed and permitted through the DOS/OBO tenant permitting process.
