Tirana U.S. Embassy Renovation

The renovation of the compound linked three existing buildings to improve the circulation for Chancery operations and provide handicap accessibility. In order improve access control to the Chancery, the design converted a connecting wing to a PAC that serves as secure, single point of entry. The Ambassador's residence renovation also improved accessibility with the integration of an elevator without disturbing the historic fabric of the building. Extensive sitework of the roadways, parking areas, a consular building, and security upgrades to the perimeter fence visually enhanced the grounds.
