KCCT provided planning, design services, and construction support for the multidisciplinary modernization of the "Old State" portion of the Harry S Truman building. The project combined the preservation of historic areas with the complete replacement of obsolete facilities and systems with state-of-the-art security components throughout. When completed, the client received 260,000 sf of new office space, an infill conference center, auditorium, and computer center, along with new infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, and communications. The firm also designed all interiors, signage, and selected the furniture.
