The restoration of this 1920's French Colonial-style residence was comprehensive including the exterior façade and windows, interiors, and grounds. KCCT's design preserved the historic character of the mansion while providing modern living conveniences and security improvements. Two floors of the residence are elevated on a basement story and crowned with a full story slate mansard roof that results in an effective height of four stories. Plain stucco covers the brick façade with ornamental finishes including balustered terraces, bracketed balconies, columned loggias, and shuttered fenestration. The interior design features the grand staircase, mosaic tile, floor finishes, and decorative carpentry. Improvements to the grounds surrounding the residence establish usage zones and provide visual separations between the public forecourt, the private rear garden, and the side yard service area.
