Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Knowledge Center

The Pan American Health Organization building needed a major update to serve as an emergency operation center during a health crisis.  KCCT’s renovation ensured 24/7 operation, and allowed leadership to mobilize forces for transportation, food, and medical supplies throughout the Americas from a central location. Our design echoed the circular spaces of the original iconic Mid-Century Modern building to create central conference/operation center rooms, with great flexibility, and a fluid circulation that provides equal access to surrounding functional areas.
