Designed in context with the existing embassy compound, this USAID Annex Office Building design-build project incorporates sunshades, and canopies in response to climate conditions. Public plazas and employee gardens surround the granite-clad three-story building, while interior spaces were designed around a central core to optimize day lighting. The glass enclosed fire-rated stair provides natural light throughout the elevator lobbies. Incorporating the latest technical, physical and environmental security features, the Annex was completed within 14 months.
