National Foreign Affairs Training Center
Over the last decade, KCCT has completed multiple projects on the National Foreign Affairs Training Center campus, where the Japanese code was broken during WWII. Projects range from historic preservation and adaptive reuse to a new maintenance facility and garage. Our detailed survey of Arlington Hall led to the restoration of exterior woodwork, masonry repointing, lead abatement, and a roof upgrade. Our extensive study of the historic Fieldhouse led to an adaptive reuse as classrooms. We converted a former fitness center into an office and training facility and designed a new Facilities Management Building to be contextual within the campus.
