Washington, DC (December 2018) KCCT is pleased to announce the promotions, certifications and new hires of the following staff members:

PROMOTED TO SENIOR DESIGNER

Danny Trejo has been promoted to Senior Designer with KCCT. Danny brings more than seven years of design experience to his work with KCCT, where he is a Designer and Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager and part of the International Studio. Danny, a Revit Certified Professional, focuses on KCCT’s largest projects around the globe. His background includes high-end residential, multi-family housing, and educational institutions. As BIM Manager he is responsible for setting BIM office standards and optimization for the entire company. Danny has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Minor in Industrial and Product Design from Virginia Tech. 

Humberto Villalon-Campos was recently promoted to Senior Designer. Humberto has been a member of the KCCT Design team for ten years, with a focus on designing and planning detailed building systems and components from schematic design through construction documents. Collaborating and coordinating with designers, project architects, and engineers, Humberto’s experience includes the Lincoln Exhibit at the Library of Congress.  His design focus includes historic preservation, urban planning, and applying technology to architectural development. He is fascinated by historic preservation and how technology is applied to Architectural development. Originally from Mexico City, Mexico, Humberto earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana.   

PROMOTED TO REGISTERED ARCHITECT

Corey Mack, RA has been promoted to Architect at KCCT. Corey has been working in KCCT’s Domestic Studio since 2009. Providing architectural services through all phases of design and construction, Corey has worked on projects ranging from small renovations to large-scale planning projects. These opportunities give him the chance to create complex, environmentally focused designs that fuse architectural elements with the natural environment. Corey graduated from The Catholic University of America in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (cum laude), and received his Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
