The concept of our office design exploits natural daylight throughout all fully occupied office areas. Enclosed perimeter offices are distributed among the studios and feature partial glazing to transmit natural light to interior spaces. All occupied areas of the office offer exterior views and natural light. The design compensates for the low floor-to-floor heights of the Washington flat plate office buildings by minimizing dropped ceilings and exposing the concrete structure. Work stations, grouped by studios, facilitate effective management and communication. Material finishes of furniture, fixtures, and equipment pull from a sustainable palette such as the stained concrete reception floor and wood panels in the adaptable conference rooms.
