Department of State Briefing Room

The interior design of the Briefing Room created an ideal setting for dialogue between the press and the U.S. Department of State and televised coverage. The use of absorptive and reflecting acoustical panels enabled an auditory clarity throughout the room. Stage lighting around the podium and dimmable indirect lighting contributed to the highly sophisticated lighting scheme. Natural wood and fabrics carried throughout the walls and furniture drew from a sustainable palette.
