Senior Architect Sunil Mistry works directly with the international studio at KCCT, and is currently working on the new US Embassy Compound in New Delhi, India; the new Australian Embassy in Washington, DC; and renovation projects in Jerusalem, Israel and Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is actively involved in all project phases, including design, construction documentation, and construction administration, on a broad range of building types. His more than four decades of experience, including 15 years leading projects in the Middle East, encompass US consulates and embassies, airports, iconic religious facilities, institutional buildings, mixed-use facilities, commercial structures, retail, multi-family residential buildings, five-star resort hotels, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and Class A parking garages. Familiar with all aspects of design, he brings expertise in the organization of complex projects, problem-solving, and quality assurance to deliver cost-effective design solutions for fast-tracked projects.

Sunil specializes in exterior building enclosures made of glass, metal, and architectural concrete. He is a master detailer for complex building design, working closely with all constituents to deliver fully coordinated, high-performance buildings. Notable projects in his portfolio include construction administration work on the Federal Reserve Board's Martin Building, Dulles International Airport, the National Air and Space Museum, and the Hamad International Airport.

Sunil received his Bachelor of Architecture with Honors in Design and Town Planning from the Academy of Architecture in Mumbai, India. In his spare time, he enjoys walking, photography, billiards, and spending time with his family.
