Interior Designer

Lydia_Headshot

Lydia joined KCCT with a background in corporate office, higher education, government facility, and medical facility design. She hones her design approach with the intent to both excite her clients and inspire them their new spaces, and is currently applying her government office interior experience to the design of the new Australian Embassy in Washington, DC.

Lydia's interest in interior design stems from the cancer diagnosis of a close relative, which prompted Lydia to wonder how medical facilities and hospitals could be more comfortable and promote wellness for their patients. This emphasis on wellness, in conjunction with sustainability and functionality, drives Lydia to apply creative solutions while bringing each client's vision to life.

A native of Charlottesville, VA, Lydia currently resides in Rosslyn, VA, where she enjoys hiking, roller-skating, cooking with her husband, and spending time with her dog, Poppy. She is involved in both CANstruction and 4H community outreach, and is a LEED Green Associate.
