Hector Herrera, Senior Designer

Senior Designer

Hector, a senior designer at KCCT, has been working in the field for ten years. His experience is extensive and varied in scale, from mixed-use developments and multifamily residential to offices, educational facilities, laboratories, restaurants and single-family homes. Whatever he works on, his goal is the same: to achieve high standards and improve the quality of clients’ spaces. Influenced by Zaha Hadid and Santiago Calatrava, Hector strives for clean designs that are both beautiful and practical.

A native of Puerto Rico, Hector is fluent in English and Spanish. He earned his Masters degree in Architecture from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He has produced a podcast that explored the architectural industry, design and the local community. When he isn’t working, he enjoys playing with his kids, cooking, racquetball, camping and renovating his house.
