Gabriel Alvarado is a Senior Architect with more than twenty years of experience in the development of schematic design, design development and construction documentation phases, as well as construction administration services. His experience comprises a wide variety of building types including K-12, higher education, institutional, and sport facilities. With a keen eye for detail, Gabriel leads his projects from initial phases all the way through to final construction. Originally from New York City, Gabriel received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. These days he calls Washington, DC home, and when not working, enjoys traveling, reading, cycling, and sketching. A self-professed history nerd, Gabriel’s biggest architectural influences include Frank Lloyd Wright, Carlo Scarpa, Louis Kahn, Mies, Renzo Piano, Norman Foster, and Le Corbusier.
