As KCCT's senior project accountant, Dexter Walker holds a critical role in successful project delivery by ensuring cost accountability and establishing trust with our clients and consultants. He tracks, reports, and analyzes the financial elements of each project, monitoring budget progress and investigating cost variances. He is committed to providing positive results from the accounting side, and he leverages his keen attention to detail to not only track budget information and trends, but to understand and explain them. His approach to his role holds relationships with project stakeholders as a priority to facilitate transparency and efficiency.

A longtime Maryland resident, Dexter applies his passion for helping others to his work with Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, where he serves as an on-site supervisor of housing remodeling worksites and restoration locations throughout Maryland. He has participated in multiple global builds, including one in El Salvador, for the Fuller Center for Housing, and is a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. An avid runner, Dexter recently completed the 2021 Baltimore Marathon.
