Humberto has been a member of the KCCT design team for 10 years, specializing in the planning and design of detailed building systems and components. Humberto's experience includes multiple historic preservation projects for the Architect of the Capitol, including renovations at the Library of Congress, the US Botanic Garden, Union Square and the Grant Memorial, and the Rayburn and Russell office buildings. Other local projects include the renovation of the Pan-American Health Organization Headquarters, the Spanish Cultural Center, and the Peruvian Mission to the Organization of American States. His design focus includes historic preservation, urban planning, and applying technology to architectural development.

Originally from Mexico City, Humberto earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana and is registered to practice in Mexico. He is an active member of the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and, in his spare time, has completed one ultramarathon and five marathons.
